Use it to outline your natural lip line and paint on lipstick using a precision lip brush. Soft pink lipsticks tend to be sheer. Painting it on in layers will allow you to intensify the color to your desired effect.

Create radiance by applying pearly highlighter cream to the high points of the face (to reflect light) and a soft pink cream blush to the apples of the cheeks. Use your fingers to apply the blush and blend well.

On your eyes, achieve a sophisticated daytime look with a chocolate brown eyeliner pencil. Alyssa Milano plays up her brown eyes with soft shadows in shades of pearl, mauve and raisin.

After applying pencil liner and softening the look with a Q-Tip, apply a few indidivual false lashes to the outer corners of each eye to get sexy, elongated eyes.

Eye shadows in jade, lime, teal, yellow or bronze to call to mind the lavish jewels of Cleopatra's era. Stick with one shade allover the lid and also use it to line the lower lashe for balance. Elongated, kohl-rimmed eyes offer a new twist on smoky eye makeup. To get Cleopatra's makeup look, use a stiff eyeliner brush to apply black liquid liner along the upper and lower lash lines, then extend the outer corners upward and outward toward the temples to create a sexy winged effect. Finish with several generous coats of black mascara. In a nod to Elizabeth Taylor, who played Cleopatra in a 1963 movie by the same name, don amethyst contacts.
